Bonnie Rasmussen
Bonnie Rasmussen majored in violin performance and elementary education at California State University, Fresno. She also studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music with Kurt Loebel of the Cleveland Orchestra, and with Edwin Jones and Werner Lywen. Bonnie was a member of the Fresno Philharmonic Orchestra and the Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra. In Marin, she continued studying for a number of years with Charles Meacham.

Bonnie continues to perform chamber music and solo performances throughout the Bay Area, including weddings, churches, and community events; coordinating string quartets; and is the concertmaster of the Lucas Valley Chamber Orchestra. Besides performing, her next great love is teaching the gift of the violin to all ages. She maintains a violin studio at the Marin Music Center in Novato, and at her home in Petaluma.
